An Evening With Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin Opens on Broadway

Two great Broadway stars have teamed up for a night of incomparable theater music: On November 21, the limited engagement of An Evening With Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin opens at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Patinkin directs this concert show, with music direction by Paul Ford.

Opening night guests are expected to include Angela Bassett, Bobby Cannavale, Debra Messing, Ann Reinking (the show’s “dance consultant”), LuPone’s Gypsy co-star Larua Benanti, Patinkin’s Homeland co-star Claire Danes and more.

LuPone and Patinkin perform a mix of their own “greatest hits” from Evita and Gypsy , but the Tony winners also thrill audiences with songs and scenes from South Pacific and Carousel, plus songs by Kander & Ebb, Sondheim and more.
